Thanks for the link James for the dvd news as when I clicked onto the link on the news page it wouldn't work for me. I emailed my address to register for news and when I clicked to send a little white square appeared and that was it. Does that mean that my email address was successfully sent?

It should be fine - but if you want to email info@canyousaveher.com from the email address you submitted, we can make sure it definitely picked up your email.

"Easter Egg" is listed.....*sigh* I was sort of thinking of maybe ordering the DVD, despite my overall opinion of G#9, just because of GDL's and Absolom's outstanding performances. But. Must there be an Easter Egg? Can there just not be an extra that's an extra, without having the nonsense of trying to figure out whatever "cuteness" is involved in "finding" the Easter Egg?
As Willow so aptly put it--"Bored now."

As Willow so aptly put it--"Bored now." It's just a bit of fun, the whole point of an Easter Egg is that you try to find it - but they're never that difficult to find, and usually involve simply trying to select different parts of the screen. Given the whole "game" aspect to Boylan's plan, we thought it would add to the overall atmosphere. Lots of people like that sort of thing. Of course, if anyone doesn't want to join in, we can always put the answer on the website. But why not give it a go? To paraphrase Spike, how about a little less ritual and a little more fun??

Considering the nature of Boylan's "game" and the overall atmosphere of G#9, that certainly makes me ill at ease regarding what the Easter Egg content will prove to be. I suspect I probably operate with a very different concept of what "fun" might be.

I suspect I probably operate with a very different concept of what "fun" might be. You asked why you have to "find" the Easter Egg, I answered - the fun lies in trying to find a hidden item, whatever the content may be. The show has a disturbing, dark storyline, it is what it is - I'm not suggesting that child murder and serial killers are "fun", but trying to find an Easter Egg is, for some of us, an amusing diversion for a few minutes...

You didn't enjoy the series, fair enough, but why you would complain about getting an extra on the DVD is beyond me. Finding easter eggs on DVDs is fun and something that's used a lot because people enjoy them. I'm glad that we're getting extras at all. Lots of DVDs don't have much in the way of extras now.
